Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Dirk Darmstaedter is his real name, as he likes to point out on stage - not a funny pseudonym like Franky Frankfurter or Benny Bielefelder. I've seen him live in 2006, all alone with his acoustic guitar, promoting his officially first solo album "Coming Up For Air", and was surprised to learn that he was a founding member of "The Jeremy Days", who had a big hit in Germany with "Brand New Toy". He's also a co-founder of "Tapete Records"... This live recording catches quite well the magic mood Dirk Darmstaedter can create on his concerts, and frankly, I prefer some of the live renderings of his songs over their studio versions - e.g. "Falling". Favorite track: Falling.
